The past few weeks I have been super excited because my girlfriend, Stephanie, just got engaged. In between starting up my Maid of Honour duties (I refuse to be called a "Matron"... sorry, but I'm just not working that), we've been planning her wedding! Steph has always known what she wants, and so this colour palette was a no-brainer. Soft, feminine colours with a vintage feel are what she's drawn to, so this combo of shades of purple, dusty rose, gray, and ivory is perfect. I love the idea of adding lace accents to this palette - simple and lovely!

Colour Palette Fridays are our favourite day of the week! Every Friday we show off a brand new colour combo to inspire your planning and give you some ideas for your wedding. Check back often!

During your engagement, your relationship with your fiance is probably crowded with big things: plans to buy a house, the buzz of wedding planning, and so much more. But, when you and your fiance start your life as husband and wife and settle into a daily routine, your relationship can start to feel mundane if you lose focus on what really matters…the little things.
